Salut!
As far as anyone can tell, human beings have been dancing together for 10,000 years, no doubt much more.
But, for the time being at least, we dance alone - no shared sweat or euphoria, no collective experience, unless you count twitch & zoom dance-a-longs, but who does?
In the meantime, we've witnessed a huge proportion of the entertainment industry being brought to its knees - there's a temptation here to go off on a serious rant about greedy djs & promoters, covid raves and misguided & nefarious governmental practices, but we shall resist.
Suffice to say, we live in interesting times.
All things must pass; even though we can't dance together, the music plays on regardless.
And for that we are immensely thankful.
